Prayer and Fasting

Bless you reader!

“When you fast..”

Jesus didn’t talk about fasting much, but when He did mention it in Matthew 6.16-18 he started by saying “whenever you fast,” not “if ever you fast.”

In studying for this subject I decided to look once again at fasting in the OT and came across this, Fasting in the OT. I can hardly add to what Mr. Mark Copeland has said here.

One Response to “Prayer and Fasting”

  1. Paul Cerras Says:

Fasting is the best thing that I have ever incorporated into my life as a Christian. Before I fasted it was hard for me to focus on prayer and to really feel connected to God during prayer. Now I fast often and pray specifically for people and I can see God really working in them and me.
